Mount Lyell Railway postcards printed by Osboldstone

#1 Post by John Campton » Fri Aug 15, 2014 12:52 pm

Mike has posted a great scan of the postcard envelope that contained the twelve postcards in the Osboldstone set. I already have "Teepookanna" and "Dubbilbarril" with another two on the way and would like to know if there is anywhere I can find out what comprises the complete set.

While not my prefered real photo postcard they are a great link to the company during the "Pictorial" period. It is just so awesome that the envelope survived.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks JC

Thank you for being so on the ball Mike it is very much appreciated. At some later stage when I have done some more investigation I may contact you to compile a list of known postcards attributed to Stephen Hooker of Waratah with a view to listing them for interested parties.

Thanks again for being so fast. For those collecting the Mount Lyell Railway Company postcards your information will help no end.

Kind regards JC
