This is an interesting postcard. Under the writing on the front of the card it says "Blow Hole, Brown's River. H. Dart Photo, Hobart". I had never heard of H. Dart but Long's book on Tasmanian photographers lists him, without any detail. On this Bulletin Board Ross has posted a photograph by him.
At first I thought this postcard was by J. Walch & Sons, because the back is identical to Walch's Series C-1905. But the series identification is missing from the back, and the front is of a slightly different layout to any Walch card. So it seems to be of a series of cards by H. Dart, printed for him by Walch, using a printing form they had set up for their own cards. Does anyone else have cards by him?
