A label inscribed TASMANIA - POSTCARD affixed over NEW ZEALAND - POST CARD on cards with
Tasmanian views is well-known ....... but

...let's see if we can compile some information about them.

Here are a few questions I think are worth seeking answers for. If you think that I may
have missed one, please send it to me by the forum's personal message facility (PM) and I will insert
it below)

1) were these cards printed for one or more publishers (is the printer or publisher printed on any of these cards)?

2) did they come from one "batch" or did the "New Zealand - Post Card" error occur on more than one occasion?

3) do all the cards have the same printed back as the example above; i.e. with (CARTE POSTALE) and French format address?

4) what are the early and late dates for cards with the "Tasmanian Postcard" label affixed
