FLINDERS ISLAND POSTCARDS

#1 Post by Mike » Sun Apr 18, 2010 8:26 pm

In my opinion the early postcards of Flinders Island a very scarce. This scan is in fact the only printed FI card I have seen in 30 years of collecting. It appears to be a promotional card for would be settlers and tourists. It was posted at Whitemark 27/3/11 to England.

If you have other Flinders Island cards please post them.

These 4 real photo postcards were the only postcards in an album of Flinders Island photographs which I obtained a number of years ago. All 4 have no writing on the back and are on kodak stock paper. I am not sure of the exact locations but I am sure that they are all of Flinders Island.

Can you help with the exact locations?
