Where ? Tasmanian Banks ?

Can anyone identify the location of these 2 real photo postcards? They came with other Tasmanian cards, so I am presuming they are also Tasmanian. Both backs have no writing on them and there are no other clues. Card 1 is the National Bank and card 2 is the Bank of Australasia. This card has a lone policeman posing in front. Mike.
