A recent discovery ....

The card is a real photo type printed by Valentine Publishing (Melbourne & Sydney)
I assume that these could be produced by Valentine for any town organisation who wanted
to sell them as a fundraiser or suchlike. Has anyone seen another example from a Tasmania
or mainland state?

This is the first Tasmanian example of this card that I have seen. I have had pass through my hands similar cards for Melbourne and Sydney. If my memory is correct I think both cards were postally used to the USA. Probably by US servicemen.
This is an interesting find, perhaps you would think there should be cards for Hobart and Launceston etc.

I have just found a "Sydney" version of the card.
