I think it's worth opening a topic to record the real photo postcards of H.H. Baily (son of
Hobart photographer .... H.H. Baily!!)

This card with a view of the township of Lovett (name changed to Cygnet in 1915) is interesting
in that it is inscribed indicating perhaps that the photographer was situated in fairly nearby Huonville.

Question .......did Baily ever operate a studio in Huonville albeit briefly? It would explain his extensive
production of Huon and Channel views.

1910 - view of the Sydney yacht "Culwulla III" on a slip in Hobart after competing in the Hobart Regatta.
Postally used to Gormanston thus the offset from a machine cancel on the view side.

In my usual fashion, I can provide a list of cards that I hold, but finding them is a different matter until I have complted the reorganisation of my collection into albums sorted by photographer/publisher. I have started, so I WILL finish, just don't know when!!

Re: REAL PHOTO CARDS by H.H. BAILY - POST YOURS HERE
A fine view by Baily of the "Convent, Franklin" - postally used from Franklin in 1907.
Interesting to note that the 'EMPIRE' photographic postcard stock had an illustrated
"With Best Wishes" printed on the verso.

2 photos of Clematis Hut, Mt Wellington, by Baily. Not sure which Baily ... since there were two ... How do we know which is which?
