Two Mt Balfour cds turned up on the back of cheques in my revenues collection. As they are good examples of the original and the altered cds, I thought some members might be interested to see the difference. The original showed the "MT" clearly but due to a name change to just Balfour, the "MT" was removed though a small trace remains. The two cheques are shown below in full. The T2a dates are 7/3/1908 - 5/Oct/1910 and the 2a(x) is 13/10/1910 to 19 Mr 1912(new late date).
