Work has re-commenced on the Index of Tasmanian Post Offices and Postal Markings
at http://tps.org.au/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page.

I wish to create a listing of one of the larger regional post offices which has a long
period of operation and BOTHWELL is my choice.

If you have any 300dpi (or larger) images of postal marking from any era used at Bothwell
and can assist, please post them in this topic as attachments. The strikes need to be
'tip top' as it is better to leave a space than to have hard-to-read and/or partial impressions
detracting from the "text book" presentation quality that this project requires.

Your assistance can be acknowledged if required.

Hi Ross, here's an arc postmark on a letter bill, with a close-up. It may not be quite good enough for your purposes but you're welcome to use it as you see fit. I'll have a trawl for other examples.

Here are examples of cds from Bothwell which can probably be improved on.

thanks Geoff ...would you be able to send me a scan please of the 4d Courier cover without the scanner-clipped margins?
... trying not to sound too fussy but a black frame around the cover would be nice too! :)
