The modified Lady Bay cancellation seems to perpetuate some of the date errors that appeared earlier in Lady's Bay cancellations. This example from 1912 has the 'day before month' variety, inverted as well! It was bought in a private sale during August 2007.

Finally I have found some spare time to add to the on-line census on the TPS member's site. Although some of the work is behind the scenes, three new offices have been added - Loira, 10 examples, Murdunna, 18 examples, and Teepookana, 4 examples. In addition, a few new colour images have been added here and there, and 10 auction realisations from Prestige, plus images, to various offices.
TPS members can view by going to the TPS members website, at http://www.tps.org.au/members_only/Index.html and loggin in with their password and user ID, then navigating to the Pictorial 3R and 4R census site.
I am hoping to add images to all 3R and 4 R Offices in coming weeks.

An additional Office has now been added to the on-line Census of 3R and 4R CDS on Pictorials, Legana, showing 7 examples.
For the other Offices recently added, the following list shows the examples now recorded for each:
Loira - 10
Murdunna -18
Teepookana - 4
Long Island - 7
Now that a lot of the tedious behind-the-scenes work has been done on the web site, I am hoping the remaining 19 Offices can be added in a reasonable time frame ( but there are numerous Auction House exampes to hunt out and record, so it will still be some time before all known, to me, examples are listed)
