Does anyone out there have an image of a 1d Courier reprint sheet?
Images of the 4d Courier (reprint) from the two plates are available at
Prestige Philately website (Sale 136, May 24th 2008, Plate 1, Lot 456 and
Sale 131, Oct 19th 2007, Plate 2, Lot 562) and Millennium Auctions website
(No. 22, 15 March 2006, both plates) but no 1d.
The chisel marks defacing the plates are obvious on these reprints.

Re: 1d Courier Reprint Sheets
You have probably seen the article in the latest Courier by now by Neil Russel on Courier reprints pp 20. Here is the 1879 perf 11.4, thin paper from the RPSL collection, which appears identical to Dave's example to me ?
