Re: WHOIZIT II? SEEK ASSISTANCE INDENTIFYING PEOPLE HERE
This real photo card by Spurling features a street march by school children down Brisbane Street, Launceston (between Charles and St John Street)
It was postally used on June 27th 1906
___________________________________________ to view the whole card, please 'click' on the image once _________________________________________________________________ Does anyone know the reason for the parade ...was it a regular event on say recently established "Empire Day" (from 1905). The shops appear to be closed
so it can be assumed that the parade may have been on a public holiday or on a Sunday.
Your thoughts are welcomed.
