Needing help to confirm Post Marks!

#1 Post by Murfz1 » Sun Mar 04, 2012 6:49 pm

Hi I having been collecting Australian States stamps for about 30 years and have never looked at post marks. Now with the stamps I need getting harder to get I am now looking at the postmarks. Can anyone correct the post marks I have named if they are in correct and help with the identification of the others with whether they are common or more dificult to find.

Thanks for any help.

The reason the post is missing is that it wasn't made in this topic - see http://tps.org.au/bb/viewtopic.php?f=9& ... t=60#p3332

Unfortunately, Murfz1 made the same query in two topics and didn't erase the first post so we have two identical posts running in parallel (there
is no need to adjust your set!) :)

I'll erase the original post in a day or two. Please continue any discussion in the topic "NEED ASSISTANCE WITH IDENTIFYING POSTMARKS? - ASK HERE !"

Ross

P.S. Murfz1 - it is possible to post images directly onto this BB and we actually prefer it to using 3rd party image hosts as they can slow down viewing posts
considerably and if it involves opening a popup, can make it's difficult to read the text and view the image(s) simultaneously. If you need any assistance in uploading
images to your post, please ask me (Ross) or admin (Pete) for assistance.
