The "back side" of the T G Williams Scotsdale card.
Scottsdale post office would have to be one of the most attractive PO's in Tasmania.

Another view of the Scottsdale PO. Postally used 3/10/61. Real photo by Murray, Gympie, Queensland, photo taken at 2.30pm. Notice the FJ Holden in front of the PO.

Also notice W.A Rose Newsagent shop. AM and WE Rose produced postcards of Tasmania's North East. Could WA be the next generation of the the Rose family in the Newsagency?

These 5 superb photographs of Tasmanian Post Offices (not postcards) are on the National Archives of Australia face book page. I would think they are all c1910. The Kindred and Northdown POs are especially interesting and show how primitive these very small country Post Offices were. There are no photographers named.

I took this photo of the Bothwell Post Office in about 1990. Not sure if I like the colour. What colour is it today?

The old Bothwell Post Office is now a lighter shade of Pink! It appears not to be operating as a post office no longer.

Real Photo postcards do not get much better than this. Claremont Camp Post Office dated on the back, 20-11-15. Photographer was H.Dowie & Co Hobart.
