In Auction:
1870: De La Rue imperforate Proofs (6), all ex the Printer's Day Book, with the Proofs attached to the original paper and annotated with dates when the Plates were sent to Hobart, with 4 d. blue and 10 d. mauve optd. SPECIMEN in blue and annotated "Plate Sent Ap. 8. 1870" in red ink; 3 d. red-brown, 8 d. dull purple-brown, 9 d. dull mauve and 5 s. purple all optd. CANCELLED in black or red and sent between "Dec 10. 1870" and "Ap. 17. 71", together with the 1891 File copies for the 1 d. rose (endorsed 'Geranium') optd. SPECIMEN or CANCELLED and the 2 d. green optd. CANCELLED.
