The A.N.A. Exhibition held in Launceston during 1908 encouraged the production of many souvenir postcards, from the overprinting of commercially available cards through to special (and sometimes elaborate) publications. Some were obviously produced to publicise the event while the majority appear to have been promotional 'giveaways' available to attendees at the exhibition.
If you have any A.N.A. Exhibition cards, please post an image here ... it will be interesting to obtain an overview as to the quantity and quality of cards produced for the event.
To start this topic, here is a card I noted for sale on eBay during mid-2011 ..... it is the most attractive 'A.N.A. Card' I have seen.
Photographs and design are by Launceston postcard seller and publisher at the time H.W. Grattan and the card was printed by W.T. Pater (Melbourne)

Re: AUSTRALIAN NATIVES ASSOCIATION (A.N.A.) EXHIBITION - 190
There is two distinct shades of this card, brown as per scan and grey. I believe the exhibition run from some time in 1907 to some time in 1908. Note date in above card is 1907.

Not a postcard, but thought people may be interested in this. Melbourne in a Nutshell.
From the 1908 A.N.A. Exhibition, but posted to Aberdeen Tasmania from Clifton Hill Victoria so I'm thinking there was an Exhibition there too.
