Hi all, I recently purchased this fascinating cover at Ross's auction:
Grenn Books part II says that CANNOT-BE FOUND "has now been found!" and is RRRR. It also says that RETURN TO SENDER has "been seen on cover accompanied by a red hand." So these two markings may be rare.
Has anyone got more info on these two markings?

Please try to get hold of a copy of my monograph "Tasmania: Informative and Instructionalk Markings" published as a supplement to the BSAP Bulletin October 2008. I know that Ross has a copy and I think I sent one to the TPS, so it should be in the library.
"Cannot be Found" is relatively common and was very long-lioved. Usage is known from 1891 to 1951.
If you would like an electronic copy I can send one to you. Just email me on pge.reid@gmail.com
