Hello All, I am from Melbourne and have been collecting Postcards & Ephemera from the Australian leg of the US "Great White Fleet" navy visit to our shores in 1908 for a number of years.
I am always happy to discuss any aspect of this event with any member of the Society including material that has been collected by myself & similar minded folk over the years. I was most interested in your Postal Stationary listing of the Tasmanian Card issued for this event & in fact the "fleet collector" who purchased the Sorell cutout mentioned in your listing was myself.
