Post 1988 Tasmanian cds

#1 Post by Anthony Munslow » Tue Jul 13, 2010 8:01 pm

Are there any lists available of cds since 1988. I am especially interested in listings of various types. I have many of this era but I am finding it difficult to sort them into any their different types, especially as there seems to be a lack of unformity.

Regards

Anthony

John Hardinge has extended the listing of Tasmanian cds through to c.1994 when the majority of steel datestamps were starting to be replaced with the neoprene-faced types (as used today) but unfortunately, this information is yet to be published. Otherwise, apart from information printed in various editions of The Courier (Tasmanian Philatelic Society) and illustrations published in most editions of The Datestamp/Australian Journal of Philately (Australian Philatelic Society), there is virtually no other information available.

Perhaps this topic could be used to list the basic types (neoprene-faced) that have been used since the late 1980s as a starting point? I would be keen to participate.

A listing of the neoprene-faced datestamps as used in Tasmania since the early 1980s has now been commenced
