New Tasmanian Postal History timeline

A new Tasmanian Postal History page has been added to our site.

This is in the form of a timeline showing significant dates an a brief summary of the more important Acts, regulations, routes and rate changes. Dates of issue of Tasmanian stamps including revenues will also be added were appropriate.

We have started with the period from first settlement to the introduction of postage stamps in 1853.

The timeline is being extended will eventually cover the whole period of Tasmanian Postal History to 1913.
