Location: situated on the Emu Bay Railway approx. 6kms NW of Tullah and 7.5km NNE of Rosebery at 41° 42.76'N 145° 32.78'E

  • the closest post office to Farrell Siding during it's period of operation was at Mount Farrell (renamed Tullah in 1910)

  • "Wee Georgie Wood" was one of three 2' gauge locomotive that provided the only connection between Farrell Siding and Tullah via the North Mount Farrell tramway between 1907 and 1962
  • an excursion train on the North Mount Farrell Tramway crossing the Mackintosh River Bridge
