- Chudleigh Junction is named after the junction of the Western and Mole Creek railway lines. The post office at the rail station was probably located where the Western Rail Line crosses Mole Creek Road about 4km west of Deloraine.
- Chudleigh Junction was renamed Lemana Junction in 1906.
