• When Leslie was renamed Longley on 3-DEC-1888, the original Longley was renamed Lower Longley. Lower Longley closed on 23-SEP-1898 and reopened 1-JUN-1901.

Location:

• situated 24km south of Hobart near 42° 58' 0" South, 147° 12' 0" East

• nearby post offices have included Longley, Sandfly and Grove. The closest current postal services are located at Grove and Margate.
