Following my discovery yesterday of a Springs postmark with a Feb 1913 postmark on a 1d Roo,
I thought I'd used up all my luck for this month but in a completely different batch of Roos I have
just came across this fine Trewalla manuscript (rated RRRRR) a little over 24hrs later.

Re: POST 1912 MANUSCRIPT CANCELLATIONS - POST YOUR IMAGES HERE
Can anyone identify this manuscript, apparently used in 1917. Even though it's not complete, I thought the handwriting may be sufficient. It may not be a Tasmanian town. Thanks, Jerry

Hi Jerry ... not much to go on there until you compare it with the mss cancel for Robigana in the previous post.
I would say that the handwriting was done by the same hand on both ........ I don't think there are any mss cancels
recorded for 1917 from the other "gana" possibles - i.e. Legana, Mangana, Tonganah and Pyengana so if it's a Tassie
mss cancel, Robigana it is.

DEVIOT · 19(?) 11 20 on 2d KGV definitive

John Hardinge states: "Pen and ink manuscript known dated 25 Nov 1919, reason unknown"
Could the date of this mss cancel be back to front ? ...i.e. it's actually 20 11 19 thus 'tying
in' with the recorded cancel.

the DYSART 20/10/27 mss
This mss is unique to the best of my knowledge but more could be found as it is believed
to have been used for a short period while the Type 2 was receiving repairs (i.e. a new dateline)

Surges Bay · 22/11/34 on a 2d "Dark Hills" Macarthur commemorative
I believe this example is the earliest date for the period in late 1934 when the datestamp was
unavailable as it was undergoing repair.

Surely one of the 'blue chip' Tasmanian manuscript cancels?!? ...... this has been the only recorded example for decades and is likely to remain so.
BERMUDA - 19/6/24 (with Glen Huon cds postmark with the same date applied ...this PO was near the intersection of Bermuda and Glen Huon Roads)

Is this a mss cancel from Taranna, Taroona, etc. or just some writing from the front of an envelope or postcard?

Can't think of anything that may fit this. May be part of writing on the envelope?

Hello,
Going through Australia Kangaroos or KGV heads, from time to time I stumble upon some manuscript postmarks, which I`m unable to identify. As I`ve seen there are some Tasmania postal manuscripts existing, I thought I might show some examples here, maybe some of the experts might be able to identify a post office name!? Of course I`m not sure if they are Tasmania examples or other states examples, I`ve also seen quite many NSW examples, but maybe some of the postmark specialists might have seen some similar comparable examples!? Any help would be great!
Greetings
jockelino

First one I cannot decipher. The manuscript is spread over two stamps, so only half of it is there. dates a "5" for 1915.
Second one could be anything. No guarantee it's Tasmanian. I will say the CDS looked like "An". Can't be a coincidence the Mss looks to show an "An" as well.
Third one is more interesting. I have seen that weird looking first letter before and if I had to guess I reckon it's Kelso.
Fourth is characteristic handwriting of Robigana, not a complete one tho. may have been part of a pair.
Last one MAY be Moogara. Would not like to swear to it, though

Seen on ebay in a mixed lot. It did not go unnoticed but I was not in the race. Image removed from ebay so I apologise for the resolution but it needs to be recorded.
