Location: situated at Kelly Basin on Macquarie Harbour at 42° 21′ 0″ South, 145° 34′ 0″ East . Kelly's Basin (later Pillinger) was the port from which output of the North Mt Lyell mining company was shipped.
- opened as Kelly's Basin in 1898 and renamed Pillinger on 1 JUN 1899. The Kelly's Basin datestamp remained in use until late in 1910
