- opened as Kelly's Basin in 1898 and renamed Pillinger on 1 JUN 1899. The Kelly's Basin datestamp remained in use until late in 1910

- BN230 is rated RR and was previously used at Upper Cascade River, Norfolk Plains East, Pateena and then finally at Kelly's Basin
- although it cannot be 'tied' to the Pillinger cds it has been 'tied' to the Kelly's Basin datestamp after the PO was re-named
